Section 1 – Cancellation Policy

Your appointments are reserved exclusively for you. When they are cancelled without adequate notice, it prevents us from providing care to other patients.

• 48-Hour Notice: Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
• Notification Method: Contact us via email at hello@advanvcedentalcare.co.uk or phone at 01924 255554.
• Cancellation Consequence: Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will result in the retention of the consultation fee, requiring an additional fee for re-booking.
• Special Considerations: We understand that life is unpredictable. Exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please discuss any emergencies or genuine hardships with our team, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Section 2 – Appointments with Dr Poppy Burgess (Associate Dentist)

Consultations can be booked with a £20 non-refundable prepayment. This offer is available for a limited time and availability is not guaranteed. If cancelled with at least 48 hours’ notice, the payment remains valid; otherwise, it’s forfeited. If you decide not to proceed with the treatment plan the payment remains non-refundable. If the payment is forfeited by not following the 48 hour cancellation policy the fee to re book is £79.00.

Section 3 – New Patient Appointments With Dr. Lewis Butler

• Prepayment: £79.00, non-refundable, covers the consultation cost.

Section 4 – New Patient Appointments With Hygienists

As you are new to the practice, you are seeing our Hygienists by means of something called ‘Direct Access’. The benefit of direct access is that you are able to see the Hygienist without having seen a dentist, however this also has its limitations which are explained here.

• Prepayment: £134.85 (non-refundable).
• Duration: 40 minutes.

Expect:

• Medical history check
• Oral cancer screen
• Tailored oral hygiene & diet advice
• A clean of your teeth to remove plaque and surface stain

Do Not Expect:

• A dental check-up
• Dental treatments (e.g., fillings, extractions, crowns)
• Prescriptions
• Tooth whitening

Note: The appointment aims to clean your teeth and confer associated health benefits, not to provide dental treatment or diagnosis.

Section 5 – Cosmetic Consultations

Cosmetic consultations are focused on discussing the aesthetic appearance of your teeth, providing you with an opportunity to explore various options to enhance your smile. It serves as a platform for you to express your concerns and preferences regarding your teeth’s appearance, allowing the dental professional to understand your expectations and discuss potential cosmetic solutions tailored to your needs.

Section 6 – Additional Potential Costs Post-Consultation

Subject to any findings upon the consultation, dental radiographs may be required. These are an additional fee. Depending on which radiographs are required the fee is as below.

Bitewings or Periapical x-rays which check for decay in the crowns of the teeth, or Infection around the roots of localised areas of your mouth are £49.80. OPT radiograph which checks the whole mouth, including wisdom teeth £69.00. CBCT which is a 3D radiograph £149/£249. (The clinically required radiograph can only be made clear to you on the day of consultation). The radiograph fees also may apply for NEW emergency appointment bookings to be able to provide a diagnosis. Further potential costs which may incur with an emergency consultation are Antibiotics if necessary £14.95. Extraction from £198.00 (dependent on tooth and complexity) or commencement of Root Canal Therapy starting from £349.00.

Following your Orthodontic Assessment a OPT may be required, this is an additional fee of £69.00.

Section 7 – Special Offers, Discount Codes, and Promotions: Terms and Conditions

1. Availability and Termination – We may, from time to time, introduce special offers, discount codes, and promotions (“Offers”). These Offers may be available for a limited period and are subject to availability. We reserve the right to alter, suspend, or withdraw any Offers without prior notice and without incurring any liability.
2. Eligibility – To be eligible for Offers, users must satisfy the specific criteria stipulated for each individual Offer. We reserve the right to alter the eligibility criteria and to refuse the provision of Offers to any person at our discretion.
3. Usage Restrictions – Offers are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or other alternatives. Each Offer may come with its own specific terms and conditions which will be communicated at the time the Offer is made available.
4. Limitations – We reserve the right to restrict the availability of Offers to any individual.
5. Modification and Variation – We may modify, replace, or introduce new terms and conditions related to Offers at any time. Your continued use of Offers, following any such modifications, indicates your acceptance of the modified terms.
6. Retrospective Effect – Offers cannot be applied retrospectively, that is, they cannot be applied to appointments already made and confirmed.
7. Exclusions – Some services may be exempt from Offers at our sole discretion.
8. Cancellation – In the event that appointments made under Offers are rescheduled or cancelled, no refunds will be issued.
9. Abuse – Any misuse of Offers, such as utilising multiple accounts to avail of promotional pricing, may result in the revocation of the Offer and/or the cancellation of an appointment.

Section 8 – ADC Aesthetic Consultations & Appointments

• “Aesthetics Consultation” a 30 minute initial appointment to prescribe treatment plan. £20.00 charge redeemable against going ahead with treatment appointment. If you decide not to proceed with the treatment plan the payment remains non-refundable. If the payment is forfeited by not following the 48 hour cancellation policy the fee remains non-refundable.
• “Aesthetics” appointment 30 minute, treatment will take place in this appointment. Charge will be dependent on the treatment plan. (£20 fee from initial consult will be redeemed)
• “Anti Wrinkle Review” 15 minute appointment (no charge) this will be booked on the day of initial anti wrinkle appts only. No charge as continued treatment plan.
• 30 minute “Aesthetics” appt can be used via reception team to book 3/12 (advised) maintenance appts or the patients can book via online booking system for 3/12 maintenance (can be left longer if patient wishes). A £20.00 deposit will be required to book / secure the appointment but the £20 will be redeemable against the treatment plan.  If the payment is forfeited by not following the 48 hour cancellation policy the fee remains non-refundable.

Section 9 – Terms and Conditions for Teeth Whitening Treatments

Eligibility for Teeth Whitening
All teeth whitening treatments are subject to a whitening assessment to determine dental fitness. If you are not dentally fit at the time of your assessment, you will not be eligible for whitening treatments.

Dental Fitness and Treatment Plans

• If you are not dentally fit, we will provide you with a personalised treatment plan to address any issues with your teeth or gums.
• The costs associated with this treatment plan, including any required procedures, are additional and not included in the whitening assessment fee.
• The timeline for becoming dentally fit will depend on the nature of the required treatment.

X-Rays

• X-rays may be required as part of your dental examination to ensure you are eligible for whitening.
• The cost of x-rays is not included in the whitening assessment fee and will be charged separately.

Whitening Assessment Fee

• The whitening assessment fee of £20 is non-refundable and covers the clinical examination of your teeth and gums, as well as the consultation with a dentist to determine eligibility for professional whitening.

Whitening Packages

• Whitening treatments can only be carried out once you are deemed dentally fit by our dentist.
• Treatment plans and costs for teeth whitening packages are explained clearly during your consultation.

Payment Terms

• All treatment costs, including additional procedures, x-rays, and whitening packages, must be paid as per the agreed payment terms. Finance options may be available to spread the cost.

Right to Refuse Treatment

• We reserve the right to decline teeth whitening treatments if it is deemed unsafe or inappropriate for your oral health at the time of assessment.

Aftercare

• You will receive aftercare instructions to ensure the longevity of your whitening results. It is your responsibility to follow these instructions for optimal results.

By booking an appointment for Teeth Whitening, you agree to these terms and conditions. For any further questions, please contact our team directly.

Section 10 – Use of WhatsApp for Communication

When you contact us via WhatsApp, we collect and process your phone number and any information you provide during the conversation to assist with your inquiry, including booking and managing your appointments, this may be via message or phone call.

We retain the chat history for future reference to provide better assistance, such as addressing follow-up questions or facilitating future appointments. This data is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties except where necessary to provide the requested service or as required by law.

You can request the deletion of your WhatsApp chat history and associated data at any time by contacting us directly. You can stop our contact by messaging STOP at any time.

 

Section 11 – GIVEAWAY TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to the Advance Dental Care giveaway promoted via our social media. By entering this giveaway, you agree to be bound by the following terms:

1. Promoter Details

This giveaway is organised and operated by Advance Dental Care, 385A Barnsley Road, Sandal, Wakefield, WF2 6BA.

2. Eligibility

• The giveaway is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
• No purchase is necessary to enter.

3. How to Enter
