If you are looking for a way to improve the appearance of your smile, you might consider dental laminate veneers.
There are 2 types of veneer; porcelain and composite.
The composite veneers (resin veneers) are covered in the composite bonding section.
Porcelain veneers (feldspathic veneers) are highly aesthetic, natural restorations for teeth. They can be used as a solution for a broad range of problems including chipped or broken teeth, gaps between your teeth, crooked teeth, staining and cracks or almost any aesthetic problems.
They are mainly used for front teeth where a very high-quality aesthetic result is required. At Advance Dental Care, we have a team who are used to delivering very high standards of these restorations.
Sometimes veneers may be an alternative to orthodontic treatment, delivering the finished result much more quickly (typically 2 weeks instead of 18 months).
Treatment using porcelain veneers usually require 2 appointments. The first appointment involves tooth preparation and impressions, temporary veneers are usually fitted at this visit.
The second appointment is where the temporary restorations are removed and the permanent porcelain veneers are completed.
